Summary
This is a very interesting project. I started it as a side project but eventually, my employer got interested and we partnered up to turn it into a commercial product
it's like a mailing list but for WhatsApp
- You can add new contacts via an API call
- You create smart tags that use regex expressions to watch for specific patterns and auto mark contacts that have sent messages(including audio messages) with them
- Messages from new contacts to your phone are automatically added to your messaging contact list. But they will start receiving messages only when you approve them (approval flow)
- You can create targeted messaging campaigns that consist of single or multiple messages sequences
- You can broadcast messages to all contacts or to a specific tagged group
- Your messages can be tailored to your contact by automatically replacing the {Name} expression in the template with the contact name
- The system will track all messages sent and will not send the same message twice to the same contact
- You can also target contacts that have not come into contact with you for some time(Eg: send a message to everyone who hasn't come into contact with you for a week)
